We are delighted to announce Andrew McNeilis, Chief Commercial Officer, will be moderating a panel this year at Boston BD, taking place on September 10th, 2019. This forum convenes C-level executives to discuss the most pressing business development challenges and opportunities facing the biopharma industry. This conference is a part of Biotech Week Boston, a festival of industry-leading events spanning the drug development value chain, giving attendees access to the most inventive scientific minds and business leaders.

This September, Andrew McNeilis will moderate the much-anticipated panel, “Stepping into the Boardroom Environment: Mentoring & The CEO”. This panel will explore the value of mentoring for Scientists and other Business Professionals making the transition to CEO/President into the Biotech and Life Sciences sector.

Joining the panel are an esteemed selection of speakers, including Arthur J. Hiller, CEO of Antyllus Therapeutics, Deborah Palestrant, Ph.D., Partner & Head of 4:59 at 5AM Ventures, and Ramani Varanasi, Co-Founder, President & CEO of X-Biotix Therapeutics

"Regardless of expertise and proven capability, entering the biotech sector from outside can be a daunting challenge," says McNeilis. "Moving from the laboratory to the boardroom equally so. I'm really looking forward to learning from these seasoned professionals who managed the change successfully, and discovering if Mentoring is a vital ingredient."

Registrations for this event are still open, and members of the EPM Scientific network are eligible to receive an exclusive $500 discount on the registration fee using the code “PHAIDON”. Click the link below learn more about the event, or to secure your ticket.
