Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced preclinical pharmacologist to join our team as Vice President. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preclinical pharmacology team and overseeing the development of preclinical pharmacology strategies for our drug discovery programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preclinical pharmacology strategies for drug discovery programs
- Lead and manage the in vivo and in vitro pharmacology teams
- Design and execute all preclinical pharmacology studies
- Analyze and interpret preclinical pharmacology data and present data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance drug discovery programs
- Prepare and present preclinical pharmacology data to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- PhD in Pharmacology or related field
- 10+ years of experience in preclinical pharmacology
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with small molecule drug discovery programs
- Experience with IND-enabling studies
