Introduction:
Our client is a reputable medical device company located in the bustling city of Atlanta, Georgia. They are seeking an experienced and innovative Vice President of Quality to lead their team towards success.
The Vice President of Quality will manage the entire QA/QC departments, including but not limited to microbiologists, auditors, specialists, and validation engineers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our client's products/services meet or exceed the highest industry standards for quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
As the VP of Quality, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to quality assurance and control within our client's organization. Your primary duties will include but not limited to:
- Leading and managing a team comprised of 30+ professionals.
- Ensuring compliance with GMP regulations as well as ISO 13485 & ISO 9001 standards
- Overseeing product development process from conception through commercialization
- Developing strategies that ensure continuous improvement across processes throughout departments
- Building relationships with cross-functional teams including R&D, Engineering, Operations etc.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would possess following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience
- Proven experience working at senior management level specifically handling Class III implantable devices
- Demonstrated ability setting up effective QMS systems utilizing EPM methodology
- Strong communicator who can effectively interface between multiple stakeholders both internally & externally
