Job Opening: Immunology/Gastroenterology Area Manager

Role Summary:
As a Senior District Manager for our Immunology GI division, you'll lead a dynamic team in the pursuit of sales excellence in the Boston district. You will coach and develop your team to excel in sales, fostering a driven and supportive team environment. Your strategic acumen will guide your district to not only meet but exceed sales objectives while managing resources effectively within budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Development: Guide, mentor, and enhance the professional growth of your team to meet and exceed sales targets for GI products.
- Strategic Sales Management: Strategically direct business operations within your budget, aligning with broader regional and district goals.
- Performance Management: Oversee team performance, ensuring individual and group targets are met through effective coaching and motivation.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain robust relationships with healthcare professionals, demonstrating the significant clinical advantages of our product line.
- Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive team efforts and minimal supervision in the field.
Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Must possess at least a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Minimum of five years in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales, specifically with products approved by the FDA.
- Licensing: A valid driver's license in any of the 50 United States is required.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%.
- Residency: Must live within or be willing to relocate to the specified geographical area.
- Leadership: Proven management or supervisory experience is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Specialized Knowledge: A deep understanding of the GI and/or Immunology sectors is highly advantageous.
