Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology/Immunotherapy
Our client is a well-funded biotechnology start up focused on discovery and development of tissue-targeted LNPs.
They are seeking an In Vivo expert who will join their team as a Scientist. The right candidate will be an in vivo Pharmacologist with expertise working with analytical methods (e.g. LC-MS), and have a background that includes work with LNPs.
This role is on-site in the Greater Boston area.
*Roles and Responsibilities of the Position:ยฌ
* Oversee design and execution of in vivo pharmacology studies to evaluate efficacy, MoA, etc., of tissue-targeted LNPs
* Employ analytical techniques to execute evaluations (characterizing, analyzing) of candidates (e.g. LC-MS)
* Act as in vivo pharmacology representative in project meetings when needed
* Design and execute in vitro functional assays (e.g. ELISA, flow cytometry, etc.) when needed
* Interact with CROs and other external collaborators to manage resources when needed
*Required Qualifications and Background:
* PhD in Immunology or a related field and 2-5 years of post-doc experience focused on in vivo efficacy testing
* Expertise with analytical methods such as LC-MS are a must
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-based, cross-functional environment
* Experience in establishing in vivo models to evaluate efficacy, MoA, etc. of biologics
* Must have regulatory filing experience (e.g. pre-IND, IND)
* Immunotherapy experience is helpful
