Research Associate, Analytical Development, Bioassay (On-Site)

Our cell-therapy client is looking for someone to join their fast-growing team. This position requires a highly qualified and dedicated applicant who will work on the analytical team.
The Research Associate, Analytical Development, Bioassay will be responsible for:
- Responsible for contributing to the development of analytical methods, including PCR, cell based functional methods, and flow assays
- participate in the process of qualifying methods for product identity, purity, impurity, strength, and function for both cell-based products and gene-transfer technologies
- writing test procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and protocols
- support process development by providing analytical testing and data analysis, as well as coordinating and participating in the tech transfer and troubleshooting of methods
- present and provide input to teams on topics of analytical importance and impact, and collaborate with research and technical development teams
The ideal Research Associate, Analytical Development, Bioassay candidate will have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science field
- 3 or more years of "Experience in developing or performing methods that are closely tied to the following: cell-based assays (such as cytotoxicity assays), assays based on polymerase chain reaction (PCR), flow assays, as well as DNA/RNA extraction and concentration measurement
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Self-motived and efficient and independent in a fast-paced changing environment
- Work experience in relevant cell therapy programs (e.g., CAR-T, NK-T, iPSC) is preferred
- Experienced with cell culture, banking, and cell handling with an aseptic technique
- understanding of T cell biology and means to measure function desirable in immune cells
- Method qualification/validation experience
