A rapidly growing Mid-size Pharma is looking for a highly motivated and experienced highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in managing teams and expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of people management experience along with a comprehensive understanding of quality assurance processes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. This includes leadership of all QA, Vendor Management & compliance functions. The perfect candidate would be willing to work hands-on to ensure compliance and support a quality-oriented culture throughout the site. The Quality Manager will be responsible forโฆ
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system based on GMP principles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain quality policies, procedures, and standards to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with GMP guidelines, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee the management of deviations, investigations, and change control processes to ensure timely resolution and prevent reoccurrence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct thorough vendor assessments to evaluate their capabilities, reliability, and adherence to quality and compliance standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee understanding of GMP requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, representing the company during inspections, audits, and other quality-related interactions.
The Quality Manager should have the following qualificationsโฆ.
- Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, or a related field
- 8 to 15 years of experience in people management, leading and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge and experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, with a focus on OSD.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing teams of 10 or more people.
