Title: Medical Science Liaison Location: Remote - Required to reside in New York City, NY Territory: New York City, NY As a key member of the Neuroscience Field Medical Affairs team of a global, blue-chip pharmaceutical company, you will act as a scientific resource for and face of the organization to hospital systems, medical societies, academic institutions, and clinical research facilities. You will provide educational and other resources to healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and other healthcare stakeholders, and will garner insights for internal teams/colleagues within the company, toward the ultimate goal of improving patient treatment and outcomes. Responsibilities: - Develop collaborative and educational relationships with key opinion leaders both in the assigned territory and nationally
- Support the development and dissemination of educational presentations for healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with the Clinical Development team to identify and facilitate relationships with clinical researchers and investigators
- Support ongoing clinical trials and sponsored study programs
- Represent the company at medical conferences and congresses
- Travel on-site up to 60% (academic institutions, hospital systems, medical congresses and conferences, etc.)
Qualifications: - PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent advanced scientific degree
- Clinical experience in neuropsychiatric fields (movement disorders, psychiatric conditions, neuromuscular diseases); experience with direct patient care is strongly preferred
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel regularly (up to 60%) including some overnight and weekend travel as needed
Compensation and Benefits: - Base Salary: $140,000-$150,000
