Company Summary:
A small commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company is currently seeking a self-driven, motivated, and enthusiastic Group Leader/Team Lead to join their team to help with developing automated laboratory testing workflows for donor sample testing.
The Team Lead will be responsible for:
- Managing an automated laboratory that conducts testing on plasma samples
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP standards in the laboratory
- Addressing any issues with and troubleshooting assays and liquid handling robotics as needed
- Supervising junior members of the team (up to 4 direct reports)
- Fostering effective collaborations across different departments within the organization
- Reviewing and approving documentation for data integrity and compliance
The Team Lead should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science field with 5 years of industry experience in a cGMP or GLP environment
- Hands-on experience in laboratory automation and liquid handling robotics
- Experience with immunological assays such as ELISA
- Experience with drafting protocols and QC documentation
- Prior supervisory experience
