This medical device company, who recently raised over $40M in their recent round of funding (in the past month), and are developing novel treatments for congestive heart failure. This company is currently wrapping up a study that has a very promising outlook regarding approval from the FDA. With that being said, you would be working on a large pivotal study across the US and play an imperative role in the success of this study. They are looking to bring on a field monitor with experience in this area; specifically, a candidate who is familiar with and able to walk into a hospital and start monitoring a heart study on the cardiac floor.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to ensure protocol compliance, data integrity, and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Verify the informed consent process and the eligibility of study participants
- Ensure that all clinical trial activities adhere to regulatory standards, guidelines, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Assist in preparing for and participating in regulatory inspections.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant Life Sciences field.
- At least 3 years of just monitoring experience for cardiovascular studies
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular disease and related therapeutic areas (congestive heart failure)
- Ability to foster a strong team culture in a fully remote capacity
