Director, Clinical Operations
Salary: ($210,000-$250,000)
San Diego, CA (hybrid)
I'm representing a biotech, in the San Diego that specializes in Oncology. They have established themselves as one of the leaders in solid tumor therapeutics, and have a hematologic program as well. This company has several products in development and are looking for someone to help lead their clinical operations team. The team is looking to bring on a Director of Clinical Operations to continue advancing the global expansion of several drugs.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that vendors adhere to budget, timelines, and organizational goals for each protocol/program
- Supervise and engage in the creation of study materials and resources, including study protocols, informed consent forms, and project plans
- Maintain constant readiness for inspections. Regularly assess the CRO's eTMF/TMF to ensure alignment with standards and adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines
- Offer mentorship and direction to junior team members and colleagues from diverse functions regarding study processes and requirements
An ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A BA/BS in science related field
- Minimum 8 years in solid tumor experience
- Minimum 10 years in Clinical Operations
- Global management experience in Europe and Asia
- Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams
