- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline laboratory workflows, improve data accuracy, and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and identify automation priorities.
- Utilize programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and automation tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Automation Anywhere) to build robust and scalable automation scripts and applications.
- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and documentation of automation solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality requirements.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for automation systems, addressing any issues or performance concerns in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in automation engineering, and proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in automation engineering, preferably in the life sciences or biotechnology industry.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks, such as LabVIEW, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and scientific workflows is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
