Automated Lab Testing Lead

A client we are partnered with is seeking an Automated Laboratory Testing Group Leader in South Florida to provide leadership for their donor testing laboratory. The role involves managing automated workflows, troubleshooting assays and robotics, overseeing testing analysts, and maintaining cross-functional relationships.
The Automated Lab Testing Lead will have the following responsibilities...
- Provide leadership and hands-on management for the automated donor testing laboratory.
- Specialized knowledge of liquid handling robotics, donor plasma testing, and immunological assays (ELISA).
- Troubleshoot assays and liquid handling robotics (Hamilton Company) as needed.
- Manage and lead a team of testing analysts, ensuring performance excellence and adherence to quality standards.
- Proficient in sample management, data reporting, and laboratory information management systems.
- Experience in cGMP environments with a focus on assay automation (preferably Hamilton).
- Work accurately in a fast-paced environment, meeting quality and quantity requirements
- Utilize laboratory information management systems for scheduling testing, data review, and result release.
- Review and approve cGMP documentation, ensuring data integrity and compliance with quality systems.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
The Automated Lab Testing Lead should have the following experience...
- Bachelor of Science Degree or related discipline
- 5+ years in cGMP environment with assay automation knowledge.
- Management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) Laboratories.
