Title: Associate Director/Director Clinical Operations for a Small Start-Up Immuno-Oncology Biotech in Maryland

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the role of Associate Director/Director Clinical Operations with our client, a small start-up immuno-oncology biotech company located in Montgomery County, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading early phase clinical operations activities within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences or related field
- Minimum 8 years' experience managing clinical trials
- Experience working on phase I - III oncology studies is required

The ideal candidate should possess skills such as:
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams including vendors/CROs.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate complex information across different levels of stakeholders.
Operational Excellence : Demonstrated expertise developing study level plans (e.g., risk management plan) from high-level input documents(e.g., protocols).
Project Management Abilities : Strong project management abilities that include prioritization of multiple tasks/activities simultaneously while meeting timelines.
Responsibilities :
As part of this position you would be expected :
1. To manage all aspects associated with conducting Phase 1 through Phase 3b Oncology Trials which includes;
* Develop trial-related materials like Informed consent forms etc..
* Collaborate closely with CRO partners/vendors & key internal stakeholder functions( e.g Regulatory Affairs ,Medical Writing)
2.To develop budgets and forecasts regarding expenses involved throughout each stage of the clinical trial process and ensure they are executed as planned .

Salary Range :-
A competitive salary package commensurate with qualifications will be starting at $180,000
