This Research Associate, Molecular Biology role is a great opportunity to work with a growing biopharmaceutical company in the Bay Area focusing on the development of treatment for cancer and immune disorders. You will be working with exciting new protein technologies to develop novel treatment approaches.
As a Research Associate, you will be working with scientists on the DNA-encoded Chemical Library (DEL) team performing assays in support of the drug development process.
The Research Associate will also perform qPCR assays, development of Illumina Next Generation Sequencing templates as well as other molecular biology, analytical biochemistry and protein biochemistry duties as needed.
The Research Associate will be working within a highly collaborative team environment, with a solutions and results oriented focus daily.
This role will be based on-site at the company's San Francisco location, as a one year contract with possibilities for extension.
Requirements:
- Two or more years experience with qPCR assays
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Life Sciences
- Strong background in Molecular Biology or Molecular Chemistry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
