Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and result-driven Strategic Account Manager to join our team in Korea. The Strategic Account Manager will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. This role involves developing new business strategies and opportunities with these key clients, collaborating with internal teams, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with key strategic accounts.
- Understand the business needs and goals of key clients and develop strategies to meet these goals.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to implement business solutions.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with strategic accounts through regular meetings and communications.
- Identify growth opportunities within strategic accounts and negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
- Ensure the timely delivery of products or services to strategic accounts.
- Manage and resolve any issues and conflicts with strategic accounts to ensure client satisfaction.
- Report on the status of accounts and transactions.
- Track sales metrics and share them with the company's internal teams.
- Forecast and track key account metrics, aiming to improve them.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in life sciences, chemical, liquid handling, or microbiology sectors.
- 3+ years of sales management experience in the related field.
- Proven work experience as a Strategic Account Manager or Key Account Manager.
- Solid sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Hands-on experience with CRM software and account management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to address customer requests in a timely manner.
- Availability to travel as needed.
