Job opportunity with a top biopharmaceutical company that is looking for a Sr Leave Management Specialist to join their team on a 12-month contract with a possibility for conversion or extension!
Pay Rate: $50/hr
Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge and experience with benefits regulations and compliance requirements (e.g. HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, required annual filings, non-discrimination testing), federal and state leave laws and disability programs (e.g. FMLA, ADAAA, MA Paid Family & Medical Leave, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.)
- 6-8 years of Leave of Absence and Disability and Benefits administration experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree is strongly required
Job Description/Skills:
- The Senior Leave Management Specialist areas of primary focus will be to lead the RFP process, explore leave and disability administrators, and implement selected finalist in collaboration with internal departments including: Legal, Finance, and Human Resources.
- Leave of Absence Management
- Effectively manages the outsourced leave of absence administrator (third-party) and oversees entire end to end leave of absence process as detailed below:
- Identifies trends and recommends program, policy or administration changes as needed
- Serves as internal subject matter expert on ADA, state and federal FMLA policies, Short and Long-Term Disability Policies
- Ensures compliance with all federal and statutory regulations and company policies; conducts research as needed and stays abreast of changes.
