Senior Scientist : Cell Therapy
Job Description: One of the top biotechs in genomic medicine is looking to bring on talented Scientists skilled with the development of analytical methods, assays, and strong experience working with Immune & Stem Cells.
This position will also involve hands-on work with lab scale process systems to evaluate process robustness.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of in-process assay to aid in cell manufacturing process optimization.
- For cell treatment initiatives, develop robust GMP release tests.
- Method Transfer and training to Quality Control team
- Provide phenotypic analysis, genomics/proteomics, and cellular tests that reveal functionality and cell characterization, while demonstrating process analytical expertise.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams in research, production, quality, and analytical development.
- Establishes process robustness using understanding of stem cell and immune cell biology.
Education & Experience:
- Ph.D. in Immunology, BioChemical Engineering, Cell Biology, Biological Sciences, or Biochemistry, or a relevant life science area, plus 0-2 years of industrial experience.
- Working knowledge of:
- Immune cells and stem cells (T cells, B Cells, NK cells, iPSCs, HSCs, etc.)
- Immunoassays, Cell based assays, FACS analysis, characterization of primary cells, differentiation assays
- ddPCR, multi-panel Flow cytometry, Western blots,
