Job Title: Senior Medical Writer
A leading medical communications agency is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Medical Writer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and a deep understanding of the medical and scientific fields, and will bring their expertise to deliver top-quality publications and medical affairs deliverables for their clients.
Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and review medical communications materials including but not limited to abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slide presentations, and advisory board reports
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical, scientific, and commercial teams, to understand client needs and develop effective and scientifically sound communications materials
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver materials to agreed deadlines
- Comfortable working across a range of therapeutic areas
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a medical communications agency setting
- MS, PhD, MD or PharmD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to review and edit written materials for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- A deep understanding of the scientific and medical publication process and guidelines
