(Senior) Medical Science Liaison, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology and Dermatology - Immunology
The pharmaceutical division of a market leading brand is currently searching for a Senior Medical Science Liaison specializing in gastroenterology, rheumatology, and dermatology-immunology in the greater New York City area. Key Responsibilities:
* Build external relationships with recognized opinion leaders in the industry while also providing clinical support on the application of the brand's current and upcoming products.
* Work jointly with partners in Medical Affairs and Clinical Research in support of Phase II to IV clinical trials, including site identification, assessment, education of investigators, conduct of recruitment events, and participation in investigator meetings.
* Provide leadership to partners through training and education as well as offer scientific support in various relevant projects.
* Collect and communicate clinical insights and intelligence on the market environment, clinical strategies, competition, and other developments relevant to the brand's success.
* Maintain in-depth scientific and therapeutic knowledge in the field, including disease states within the franchise as well competitor's products.
* Fully understand and apply MSL SOP's/guidelines and company HCC/Regulatory/Legal guidelines.
* Strongly represent the brand in scientific meetings including congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and investigator meetings. Interpret and report findings with recommendations to relevant internal stakeholders.

Qualifications
* PharmD, PhD, MD, DO is preferred otherwise another advanced medical degree is required (NP, PA) w/ 2+ years relevant therapeutic area clinical experience
* 2-4 years MSL experience, and/or 2-3 years relevant work experience in the industry
* Knowledge and experience in the Gastroenterology and/or Immunology field is highly preferred
* A valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record
* Ability to drive or fly to in-person events, 70-80% of the time
* Overnight travel, including some weekend commitments
