Job Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Commercial Strategy is responsible for the Generics division and will set the sales and marketing strategy for pipeline products and new product launches. This person will be involved in various marketing programs as well as market research and assessing the competitive landscape of the Generics market. The Senior Manager will drive the product launch process and cross-functional coordination for new Generic pharmaceutical products.

The Senior Manager of Commercial Strategy will be a key member of the Commercialization meetings and will lead pipeline discussions. Ideally, this person will have a strong scientific background and act as a subject matter expert of the Generics market.

This role will require business acumen, understanding and demonstrated ability to work with sales and marketing teams across the business. This position will be responsible for a diverse set of activities across commercial strategy, with an opportunity to become a leader within the organization.

Responsibilities:
Work cross functionally with team members to coordinate launches in terms of timing and marketing efforts.
Manage marketing and advertising programs, including but not limited to: telemarketing, development of journal ads, and website development.
Establish strategy and forecast demand for generic product launches to meet market share, volume and revenue objectives.
Integrate with Regulatory and Legal teams and develop/maintain a long term launch forecast
Prepare in-depth analysis of key competitors' strategies, offering insights to support key business decisions.
Support competitive landscape development for key products and disease states of interest
Integrate primary market research insights with secondary data findings to build a comprehensive and holistic understanding of the marketplace and key business issues

Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant Commercial experience (sales/marketing) in the Generics market within the pharmaceutical industry.
Bachelor's degree. Post-graduate degree preferred (MA, MS, MBA).
Product launch experience preferred.
Forecasting, Market Landscape, Market Research or Pipeline Assessment experience preferred
Strong project management and leadership ability
Understanding of marketing/commercial teams within the pharmaceutical industry.
