I am partnered with a leading medical device company with a focus on spine and orthopaedic products. They have a diverse range of products that they design, develop and deliver worldwide. Due to the huge demand they are looking for a Sales Representative (m/w/d) (Orthopaedics) to help increase sales.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes and sells agreed products to the customer base within the defined territory
- Supplies product and clinical information to the customer which will promote/achieve the optimum usage and sales of the agreed products
- Provides all necessary training for the customer to facilitate the usage and sale
- Keeps detailed records of each customer, key named individuals and all relevant demographic and sales data
- Maintains detailed knowledge and awareness of the competition at individual hospital/regional level
- Maintains effective relationships with key influences and decision makers in each account
- Ensures timely and effective feedback on sales opportunities and risks to existing business, together with feedback on opportunities relevant to the company's future growth
- Organises and holds workshops in own territory, in collaboration with Customer Service and Warehouse
- Liaises with the QA department regarding any quality issues raised by customers
- Plans and executes Training & Education for customers and employees (esp. sales)
- Negotiates terms inside the approved scope
- Provides regular forecasts and other reports upon request
Requirements:
- Experience in sales for medical devices, preferably trauma or orthopaedics
- Valid drivers licence
- Fluent German
