A leading clinical-stage Biopharmaceutical company, who is focused on the development of Genomic medicines and treatments aimed to address the needs of people with life-limiting conditions, is looking to bring on new talent to assist its needs in Cell Therapy Process Development. The Technical Operations group is looking for a Cell Therapy Research Associate, who will be responsible for supporting the development of cell isolation, cell processing, and cell expansion processes. The company is looking for a candidate to help enhance its leading Genomic capabilities and product pipeline aimed at tackling Neurological, Oncological, and Autoimmune related diseases.
Responsibilities
- Perform Cell processing operations for related internal groups
- Analyze Cell Cultures using basic Cell counting methods
- Provide routine maintenance of Cell Cultures for on-going experiments
- Provide support of crucial process parameters in various Cell Therapy processes
- Document experimental findings and results in a timely and thorough manner
- Maintain Lab space and Lab inventory as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ years of In-Lab experience in an Academic Research or Industry setting
- Experience with, or understanding of, Mammalian Cell Culture, Aseptic technique, and basic Immunology concepts
This is an on-site opportunity that will start on a 6-month contract with the opportunity to convert full-time
