The Project Engineer takes care of effort estimation, execution and review of test & certification projects within the field of functional safety of industrial machinery. The Engineer assures accurate project execution and authority to review correctness of other project executions & documentation.
Execution of test and certification projects under utilisation of applicable standards and regulations with applicable resources and equipment at client sites
Effort estimation and sales support of quotation requests
Scheduling of projects in cooperation with Business Support Centre
Organisation & realisation of assigned projects within scheduled timeline
Documentation of tasks
As assigned review of work of other project engineers
Support of continuous improvement projects
Your profile
Expert knowledge of applicable safety and functional safety standards, such as but not limited to EU Machinery Directive / EN60204 / NFPA79 / UL2011 / CSA C22.2 No. 286 and CSA SPE-1000 / UL 987
Experience with FS Software SISTEMA
Adequate insight in service portfolio and capabilities of assigned Business Lines
Adequate insight in Quality Management System and structure
Fluent written and spoken English
University degree or equivalent and 5 years related work experience or min. 8 years related work experience
Excellent Language skills in writing and presenting (English and German)
Very good analytical, creative, technical project management and interpersonal skills, along with an intense customer focus.
Tactful communication (written and presentation) style; need to have the ability to create a story and value proposition, develop presentations, and present in front of internal/external clients, as well as front line to executive levels.
Prioritise tasks according to business objectives and can pursue several objectives simultaneously.
Can work independently with a high degree of self-motivation.
Ability to travel on a regular basis (25%-40%)
