We're partnered with a mid-size medical education agency looking for a Medical Director to join their team.
As a Medical Director, you'll be focusing on three key areas:
- Content development - in the weeds and creating promotional/medical education deliverables across a variety of therapeutic areas
- Medical and business strategy - understanding the brands' and clients' goals and sharing a medical perspective with new and prospective pharmaceutical companies in the space
- Team management - work cross-functionally with other internal team members to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality deliverables
A strong candidate for the role will have the following:
- Terminal degree (PharmD or MD is a plus)
- At least two years of direct Med Comms agency experience, having touched on the above three key areas
- Having worked on promotional/medical education deliverables including ad boards, executive summaries, slide decks, competitive intelligence, congress support, and scientific narratives
- Also having an extensive knowledge across therapeutic areas - rare diseases, infectious diseases, neurology, rheumatology, and/or gene therapy a plus
- Great verbal communications
