Title: Manager/ Senior Manager Commercial Analytics
Reports To: Executive Director, Commercial Analytics
A small, rapidly growing biotechnology company is looking for a Manager/ Senior Manager of Commercial Analytics. This is an amazing opportunity to join a team with rapid growth and have a direct impact. This role is critical for executing insights-driven analytics to inform decision-making, drive performance for in-market product, and support launch of new products.
Responsibilties:
- Provide insights that will guide tactical decisions and support execution:
- Oversee analysis of sales opportunities and provide key patterns, business Insights to inform sales strategy decisions
- Support field force strategy through outputs of sales analysis and insights generation, national and sub-national reporting, KPI development and tracking/monitoring, and other commercial effectiveness initiatives
- Supervise commercial performance for senior management & executives
- Support payer and patient-level claims data analysis
- Evaluate, assess, and analyze data necessary to support Market Access strategy development and payer account team's information needs
- Support field activities and improve sales reporting
- Improve customer quarterly business review materials
- Manage inquiries from sales colleagues, initiate data investigation
- Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of data and deliverables
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Forecasting, Sales Operations, Contracting, Finance, and data management functions to support project implementations, business process changes, and operational consistency
Qualifications:
- 3 years' working in pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience
- Undergraduate degree required
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the capability to appropriately define issues, questions and data; to comprehend qualitative and quantitative methods to perform accurate analysis
- Experience in "buy-and-bill" market analytics
- Working knowledge and in-depth understanding of Pharmaceutical data and various data sources (i.e. IQVIA, Symphony Health, Payer data, formulary data, other claims and EMR data systems)
- Proficiency in Tableau or Microsoft Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and data mining (i.e. Alteryx, SQL) skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in an analytical/quantitative field
- Advanced knowledge of statistics
- Start-up experience is a plus
