Inside Sales Representative
Location: Chicagoland Area- Hybrid
Salary: $60,000 + $24,000 commission
A large biotechnology company is looking for a new Inside Sales representative to use telephone contact to create new business within their life science sector, specifically with pharmaceutical and biotech organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Meet annual sales expectations.
- Build relationships to grow key account business, develop new business relationships, and reactivate previous business relationships.
- Work cross functionally with multiple departments including purchasing, marketing, customer services, and quality.
- Upsell, probe, and identify customer opportunities, and perform sales support duties.
- Utilize resources such as catalogs and on-line databases to meet customer order requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a science related field or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- 1 year of Field/Inside Sales minimum or Technical Product experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in MS office applications and Excel, and Salesforce or CRM.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
