The position is Remote but Talent must be located on the West Coast.
Responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks related to drug safety. In charge of reviewing and evaluating adverse events related to use of pharmaceutical drugs, serving as a point of contact for stakeholders on safety activities, and identifying safety signals. In charge of answering questions from health workers, partners, and others, as well as ensuring compliance throughout the program with reporting requirements related to adverse events; this information must be passed along to entities such as relevant authorities, review boards, investigators, and drug producers.
Typically requires four or more years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in biological science.
Other requirements may include experience with the drug safety databases Argus or ARISg, as well as experience with basic computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with medical terminology, good communication and multitasking skills, and the ability to work in a team setting are also vital to success in the drug safety associate position.
Must have knowledge of case management fundamentals with a background in case processing and QC/compliance trending.
