An early-stage biotechnology company is looking to add a development scientist to their team. This role will play a pivotal part in the organization's growth as they continue to advance their mission of being able to harness information stored in nucleic acids.
Responsibilities:
- Create experiments to develop and validate molecular biology-based assays
- Strong ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience developing SOPs
- Strong molecular laboratory technique experience
Qualifications:
- PhD in a scientific discipline
- Experience adhering to Quality Control standards and GLP guidelines
- LIMS proficiency
- Experience using programming languages (Python, R, etc.) for data analysis
- Preferred: experience with PCR, RNA sequencing, molecular biology, synthetic biology, nucleic acids
