A top leading analytical instrumental company is looking for a Business Development Specialist to cover their West Coast Territory in the Mass Spec/ Proteomics space. Bring repsonsible for growing MS sales, this position supports the sales and strategic objectives in the Proteomics market in North America.
Responsibilities:
- Drive growth of MS Sales in US Region while understanding the customer value chain, critical success factors and business plan for sales tactics
- Identify map targets accounts and developed execute new business for the company while continuing to grow the current pipeline
- Generate new opportunities and partner with sales representatives in driving growth of Proteomics Analysis market in North America
- Have hunter mentality to knock down doors for new business and close accounts before handing new accounts to new account manager
- Establish relationships with investor community and within incubator life science community
- Collaborate with North America marketing team
- Collaborate with other divisions offering solutions for Proteomics Analysis market to ensure company position
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Proteomics and Mass Spec
- Ability to travel
- Ability to identify and break into new accounts
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development or sales of capital equipment
- 60% travel
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce
