Associate Director, Sales and Marketing Analytics

Company Summary:
An exciting new opportunity within a global and renowned pharmaceutical company specializing in neurodegenerative disease. The candidate will be key member of the team providing analytical support to the Sales & Marketing function (Brand Marketing, Field Sales Leadership) of a growing commercial organization with two approved products (one for the treatment of addiction and another for the treatment of schizophrenia) and a portfolio of pipeline product candidates. This position will be a key analytical business partner for Psychiatry Marketing and will provide analytical support to Psychiatry Sales Leadership as well. In addition, this position will work closely with peers in other functions on producing cross-functional deliverables to key stakeholders. This position will report to the Director, Sales & Marketing Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales & Marketing leaders and other stakeholders to:
- Track performance of markets and product launches
- Quantify treatment provider landscapes and segments
- Develop brand performance analytics and metrics
- Evaluate effectiveness of marketing and field efforts; identify challenges and opportunities; provide actionable insights / recommendations
- Support business plan development and execution tracking
- Determine required data sources (internal and external) to address business questions
- Add depth to insights by understanding all key brand commercial dynamics
- Provide ongoing, high-level strategic consulting to all internal stakeholders to ensure maximum leverage of insights
- Vendor and Data Management
- Work with Corporate Planning, Commercial IT, Finance and Program Management
- Mentor and support development of analysts
Key Qualifications:
- 7 years in an analytics role and 4 years in biopharma (experience with sales & marketing analytics preferred)
- Experience with specialty injectables, Psychiatry products and product launches preferred
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
- Working knowledge of CRM solutions; knowledge of Veeva or Salesforce.com preferred
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA and Symphony Health
- Experience with Tableau preferred
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Focus on process improvement and the development of sustainable / predictable processes, business rules and solutions
- Ability to communicate requirements to vendors and manage their performance
