A rapidly growing biotech company located in Boston are looking to expand their Managed Market Analytics team by adding an Associate Director. This role is focused on the rare diseases space and encompasses building dashboards, working with multiple data sets, long range forecasting and analytics - ultimately this position is at that will operate at the heart of the commercial, managed markets and analytics team.
This position is a key liaison to help streamline and rationalize the Managed Markets data and analytics enablement process. This person must be a self-starter, possessing the ability to quickly understand complex situations and provide effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the development of key projects to develop reports and dashboards that will be used for providing strategic insight to senior leadership for decision making
- Develop and execute a data strategy roadmap for Managed Markets data assets and assist in developing and executing an automation roadmap for Managed Markets operations
- Serve as a subject matter expert on trends related to key drivers of gross-to-net through proactive research and analysis of various data sources, industry publications and engagement of internal/external stakeholders as it relates to payer and segment mix, business intelligence dashboards, reporting and related analytics
- Partner with a vendor to build and maintain dashboards and direct the design process, translating from business stakeholders to the final dashboard or reporting solution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Ideally experience in the insights, analytics and reporting
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required; strong to expert proficiency in Alteryx, Tableau/Power BI, SQL
- Experience with pharma and managed markets data sources (to include IQVIA, Symphony Health, MMIT & DRG Managed Markets)
- Strong understanding of the US payer and channel landscape
- Basic understanding of statutory government pricing methodologies
