Associate Director Bioanalytical Science Urgently needed for growing Biotech

The Associate Director Bioanalytical will have the following Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in advancing preclinical discovery of the company's primary drug program across a range of indications.
- Lead development of bioanalytical methods to assess concentration of API, metabolites, and related species across multiple small and large animal species.
- Manage external CROs for the execution of method development and sample analysis.
- Perform pharmacokinetic analysis of data, communicate results, provide scientific interpretations and recommendations.
- Independently lead and execute research projects that ensure support current and future company goals.
- Regular leadership responsibilities: Manage/mentor junior scientists as well as foster a scientific culture of collaboration, innovation, rigor, and transparency.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following skill set:
- M.S. or Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years in Industry with Ph.D. or 12 with M.S.
- Proven history of leading development/validation of Bioanalytical LC-MS methods from fit-for-purpose to GLP
- Full understanding of FDA and global regulatory requirements of study types assigned, as well as Testing Facility SOPs and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
- High level communication abilities are required, needs to be able to communicate scientific ideas to Stakeholders of varying levels of scientific understanding.
