Analytical Chemist - New Jersey
A top manufacturing company is seeking an analytical chemist who is eager to learn and grow to join their research and development team!
Responsibilities
- Conduct the analytical testing on requests from corporate QA/QC, regulatory, corporate R&D, and manufacturing
- Work alongside the R&D labs in basic and applied research to provide analytical test results and interpretation
- Draft test reports and maintain proper documentation of analytical test results
- Conduct instrument analysis of products/raw materials and wet chemistry
- Proper maintenance of lab equipment
Qualifications
- S. Degree in Chemistry + 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry, Instrumentation, and material/analytical characterization methods
- Experience working with material characterization instruments: HPLC/MASS, UV, FTIR, DSC, SEM, GC/MASS, and GPC
- Good communication and organizational skills
